On Saturday, May 16, 2015, the Benton County Republican Women held a non-partisan Armed Forces Day Flag Rally to pay tribute to all the brave men and women who serve to protect the USA. The rally was held at the National Guard Armory, 1100 NW Kings Blvd., from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. The minute the flag wavers started unfurling their flags, drivers started honking their horns and waving. There was much enthusiasm and the event was a very nice recognition of our troops. Thank you to all who participated and special thanks to BCRW President, Carolyn Webb, who brought wonderful refreshments. Thank you, most especially, to all members of the Armed Forces.
