On Saturday, June 13, 2015, Benton County Republican Women sponsored a flag rally to celebrate Flag Day, as recognized each June 14th in the United States. This event was held from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of 9th Street and Circle Boulevard in Corvallis, Oregon, and was open to the public. Flag wavers were met with honks and cheers as cars passed by. BCRW President Carolyn Webb provided a candy dish and wonderful chocolate-chip cookies. It was a gorgeous sunny day with a light wind that kept the flags flying beautifully. Thank you to all who participated. Patriotism is alive and well.
