Monday, September 28, 2015 - Benton County Republican Women met at King Tin Restaurant, 1857 NW 9th Street in Corvallis at 11am for a no-host luncheon, a short business meeting and a speaker at 12 Noon. The topic was "Celebrate Abigail Scott Duniway, women's rights advocate from Albany, Oregon!" Dunaway was a driving force in winning women's right to vote in Oregon in 1912. Sharon Thorne, docent from the Oregon Historical Society, gave an exciting presentation on Mrs. Duniway's most productive life.
