The Benton County Republican Central Committee's annual Republican Picnic was held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the beautiful farm of Les and Margaret Wheeler on Kiger Island in Corvallis, Oregon. What a wonderful evening! Our gratitude to the Wheeler's to Bill and Faye Fryer for chairing the event, to Sandy and Lynda McHenry for the fabulous barbecue and to all the volunteers who helped. Linn County Republicans joined us and we hope this is the start of many future joint events.
